Sapana Indian Restaurant is located in the picturesque bay of Xlendi, a few metres away from the sea front. The name of the restaurant means a ‘dream’ in Hindu. It was always the patron’s dream to open an Indian Restaurant in the island of Gozo. Frank has been managing Asian restaurants for over 10 years. He is very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about his cuisine. As for the service it is his priority to be impeccable.

 

Our wide range of starters includes the all-time favourites Onion Bhajis, Vegetable Samosas and Crispy King Prawns, while for the ‘meat lovers’ the Sheekh kebab, Chicken tikka and Chicken pakora are a must try. All Popodoms and starters are served with home-made chutneys (free of charge). As for the main course, the Beef Karrai is highly recommended by our Pakistani Chef. As expected, one can find the classics like Korma, Madras, Pasander, Vindaloo, Tikka Masala, Kofta, Dhansak, Rogan Josh, Balti, Palak and more. Most of these sauces can either be served with Chicken, Beef, Lamb or fresh Fish. The menu also offers a varied selection of Vegeterian dishes and one cannot forget to mention the home-made breads such as the Chapatis, Naan bread and Parathas. The restaurant also offers 10% discount on all takeaways orders.
